Reformed Manchester Jewellers Network 16 May 2006

Reform Creative are pleased to announce, after a six way credentials pitch, that the Manchester based agency has been commissioned by Manchester Jewellers Network to produce their prestigious exhibition brochure.

Reform can boast extensive experience in producing exhibition material for the likes of Shisha (The international agency for contemporary South Asian crafts and visual arts), Halima Cassell (Artist), Asia House (London) and the Design Initiative (Manchester).

Architectonics is a visionary exhibition of contemporary jewellery based upon or inspired by Manchester architecture and created by members of the Manchester Jewellers Network (MJN/ACJ). The intention of the exhibition is to celebrate Manchester’s unique network of contemporary jewellery designer/makers and the city’s outstanding architecture, (old and new) and encompassing the regeneration development boom that is currently changing the face of Manchester. The jewellery submitted for the exhibition incorporates themes and aesthetics taken directly from existing buildings, forms or structures in Manchester, and will help inspire new concepts in building and jewellery design.

The brochure will include photography by acclaimed and well know Manchester photographer Jonathan Keenan.

Paul Heaton comments,

“This is a most exciting project and we are thrilled to be working with both Jonathan Keenan and Manchester Jewellers Network. The pieces that have been produced by the network are inspirational and will go a long way in raising all parties to a higher platform of national and international appreciation.”

The Exhibition, Architectonics, was held at Urbis Manchester 2006.
