Dreams Made Manifest 24 February 2009

Reform have designed and produced the second in the line of publications for artist, Halima Cassell. The publication, known as ‘Dreams Made Manifest’ is a 64 page hardback book which includes an interview with the artist and contributions from writers, internationally acclaimed in the field of sculpture, architecture, ceramics, craft curatorship, art sponsorship, critical thinking and journalism.

Halima wanted a publication that was clean, contemporary and that served as a vehicle to showcase her stunning work. It was important that the publication was not over designed or cluttered with graphic devices and only the absolute necessary was retained. Reform produced a book that was comfortable to read and showed Halima’s work without compromise.

Halima comments,
“I have worked with reform now for four years on various projects to help market myself as an artist. Reform is different than other agencies as they are not only extremely passionate about design but really get under the skin of what I want to portray as an artist. As I have an eye for the geometrical I am very particular about balance and form. Reform really managed to get this right in my first publication, which is why I wanted to use the team again for my second publication. I am very proud of the publication the team at Reform have designed for me and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

Reform is now in talks with other artists following the success of ‘Dreams Made Manifest’ in a view to producing more publications and brochures. The team is also helping several arts organisations with marketing support and design.
