Reform welcomes Gary Devreede 18 January 2012

Reform Creative is please to welcome our new recruit Gary Devreede. Gary started on a work placement with our creative department in December last year and impressed the team so much we offered him a permanent position in the new year.

Gary graduated with a first class honours degree in Graphic Design from Staffordshire University in the summer of 2011. In the same year he was shortlisted for the Penguin Adult Design Award, featured in the Computer Arts Inspiration blog and had his work published in Show and Tell: A showcase of Creative CV ’s.

With seven years commercial design experience under his belt before and during his time at university, Gary has worked for various design and marketing agencies around the Midlands, gaining valuable experience in both print and design. He has been involved in projects from big to small and always brings enthusiasm to his work. Aside from an interest in the golden days of letterpress, he has an unhealthy and obsessive passion for all things typography and always looks forward to the new challenges that life at Reform brings.

When he does manage to drag himself away from the design world, Gary can be found strumming away on his guitar, for which he’s been trying to master for 12 years, or pouring over strange and unusual literature from the lost era of the Beat Generation. Over the years his keen interest in music and literature has often informed his own design work and continues to inspire him in the professional field.
